b)Temba Bavuma “A Star is Born”
- Born 17 May 1990, Cape Town.
- First black African to score a test century for South Africa.
- In the 1st Test between the Proteas and England on 5 January 2016 he scored 102 runs. This helped the Proteas to draw the test.
- This in his 7th match for the Proteas, total runs 247, batting average 35,28.
- Matriculated from St David’s Marist Inanda High School, Sandton, Johannesburg with three distinctions.
- B.Com degree in Finance from UNISA
c) Kagiso Rabada (Right Arm Fast Bowler -Left Hand batsman)
- Born 25 May, 1995, Johannesburg
- Played against England in the absence of Steyn and Philander. In the final Test, with South Africa having already lost the series, Rabada became the youngest South African to take 10 wickets in a match when he finished with 13 for 144.
- Holds the best bowling figures on debut. Rabada recorded the best-ever figures by any bowler on his ODI debut. He and Fidel Edwards are the only bowlers in the world to have taken a six-wicket haul in their first ODI.
